The owner/landlord wants all prospective tenants to complete a National Tenant Network (NTN) application. The NTN is a non-refundable fee of $20, and an extensive background check will be done. If the owner is satisfied with the results of your NTN application, you will then be allowed to move forward to the Board application. The following fees are NON-REFUNDABLE: $400 application fee, $100 criminal background, and $100 credit report. In addition, there is a REFUNDABLE $500 move-in fee and a REFUNDABLE $500 move-out fee that must be paid in advance if the Board approves the applicant. The owner also requires the first month's rent of 2,100. The Board reserves the right to interview all sublease applicants. If the Board declines you, you will not be able to move into the building.
