This historic classic brownstone is located in Central Park Slope on 5th Street off 7th Avenue on a beautiful tree-lined street, two blocks from the entrance to Prospect Park, the crown jewel of Brooklyn. This recently renovated four family home is located in arguably the most desired and sought after areas of Park Slope; Located just a few blocks from the 7th Ave subway station on the F & G subway lines minutes away from downtown Manhattan.

Every phase of its recent renovation and restoration has been performed under the watchful eyes of the familys most recent generation to ensure the highest quality and integrity of every detail.

464 5th Street has a storied past and been the home to Broadway stars, famous media journalists, accomplished authors and playwrights, architects and engineers as well as emergency room doctors and nurses. Many families were started and raised in this home, who all created their own piece of their families history.

Each of the apartments all have they own unique flair and design with generous size rooms, plenty of closet space and copious amounts of sunlight. Much of the original decorative plasterwork and woodwork has be retained and wherever possible restored to its former glory. The entire faade, stoop and roof top cornice have all been meticulously restored from historic photographs including the complete restoration using authentic brownstone material. The faade restoration took nearly a year to complete to ensure that the hand carved scrollwork as well as all of the architectural elements were perfectly replicated. The rooftop cornice was completed rebuilt and restored with one of a kind custom hand carved wood corbels installed to match the 1910 design which removed from most brownstones in the neighborhood.

The interior staircase was completely repaired and restored with brand new treads and risers custom hand made from oak and cherry wood. The main hardwood handrail was stripped of over a century of layers of paint completely restored to reveal the original woodgrain beauty.

All of the light fixtures in the hallways and exterior have been replaced with new designer energy efficient, eco-friendly light fixtures.

The floors in the hallways in the main lobby and garden level hallways were replaced with brand new oak hardwood flooring and the remaining existing floors were stripped, sanded and revarnished.

Brand new modern Mailboxes were also recently installed
Fully warrantied roof and gutters have recently been replaced.
Brand new 75 gallon commercial grade hot water heater.
The natural gas powered forced hot air furnace is new was added to the building in January 2025.
The fire escapes have been very recently refreshed, repaired, and repainted with commercial grade Rustoleum paint.

The an unfinished basement was recently waterproofed and painted and has lots of space; great for storage!
